RUDS is one of Reading University’s most active societies. Last year saw 100 cast, crew and creatives performing to over 800 audience members. Our members come from all over the uni and have a variety of interests making us one of the most diverse groups on campus.

Putting on a performance can eat up a lot of your free time, so why do we do it? Primarily it is a fun way to make new friends from across the uni and enjoy a shared interest in theatre. It is also a crucial way for students keen to get a career in the arts to gain vital practical experience. Perhaps most importantly though, nothing else can compare to the feeling of accomplishment when all that hard work comes together and RUDS puts on another awesome show!
